Tim Gullickson is managing director of business development for First Light. In this role, he oversees the firm’s marketing, business development and client service efforts.
Gullickson has nearly 20 years of experience marketing a range of diverse product lines to institutional investors. Most recently, he was managing director and head of partner relations and business development for New York-based Clearfield Capital Management, an equity long/short and event-driven hedge fund. Prior to this role, Gullickson worked for Man Group where he was first managing director of institutional marketing for the Midwest and Canada before being promoted to managing director and head of institutional business development for North America. Earlier in his career, he also served as managing director and head of business development for Stark Investments; vice president of endowment and foundation marketing for American Express Asset Management Group; and mutual fund marketing manager for Investment Advisers Inc. Gullickson holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities and the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation.
